Spoken word, a beautiful oral art lyrically wrapped and passionately delivered. Fusing poetry and music together spoken word artist Rashida Miles is an up-and-coming empowering Poet, an Evangelist, a Cosmetologist, Author, Chef, a multi-business owner, and founder of multiple nonprofit organizations. Rashida born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama in the “Collegeville” neighborhood, is one of the most powerful spoken word artists of the decade. The remarkable author is the daughter of Demetrius and Sandra Faye Richardson and baby girl of four siblings. She grew up on the Northside where she attended Hudson Elementary school and graduated from G.W. Carver High School 1995. 

Rashida Miles the loving wife to Christopher Miles and superb mother of three beautiful daughters (Kodisha, Savannah, and Jada Rose), has always had a way with words.
