The south is known as the birthplace of a vast number of hip-hop's most gifted and legendary artists. From the era of the Geto Boys and Andre’3000 to the new school of Future and TI, southern rappers have respectfully solidified a position in history as a birthplace of legendary industry figures. Like those mentioned, rising Midland City, Alabama native Lelo Da Yungeen is grinding his way to be one of the next renowned southern artists. Only 15 years old and fresh into the core of his teenage years, Lelo Da Yungeen is remarkably talented, and has time to develop. Can you image 2 years from now, this kids’ lyrical skillset? Lelo entered the industry less than a year ago and currently has released three singles with visuals. Growing up in the industry, music has always been a part of his life. Lelo is very dedicated to his craft and is emotional invested in his music. On the track “Long Road” featuring Gunz Corleone, the passion in his voice seeps out over the melody. The track can be compared to trap-soul, as Lelo deliver melodic bars alongside Gunz Corleone's gritty southern flow. Currently preparing for the official release of his debut project Only 15, Lelo Da Yungeen is ready to enter the airwaves.
