The Beauty of the Natural World, Karen Petersen

Pressure Release

P I A N I S T - S I N G E R - V L O G G E R

Top Of The Mountain is the first single off Karen Petersen's debut release - an EP titled I'm Free. The song, written and produced by Karen, and co-produced by Damian Roman and Spencer J Kennedy, is a Christian song in the House genre.

The lyrics are inspired by Karen's own journey with God. The chorus echoes how the mountain-top experience is much sweeter if the valley was endured in God's presence. The catchy melodic run at the end of the chorus recites the famous Psalm, "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me," and affirms that through whatever we endure, we are covered by God's kindness and favour.

Top Of The Mountain is available on various digital music platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, Youtube, Amazon, Deezer and more. The song, along with the rest of the EP will be launched in a live concert on 27 August at AFM Blackheath Church, Cape Town at 17:00. Tickets are available online on Webtickets, and in-person at Pick n Pay, or through contact with Moses Arendse at 084 811 1590.
